Beef and potato pierogies, oh you are our new favorite thing. We ordered these delicious morsels at our first visit to
Trestle Tavern. And it will not be our last. Next time, we might go and just order all the pierogies on the menu!

Trestle Tavern opened this year where Fresco was located. It is from the minds of the Pago Restaurant group. They offer casual fare and our server told us that it is a nod to Eastern European pub food. She also informed us that because of this they offer special ciders and beers which we didn't order. Instead we opted for their cocktails. Sothea tried their Market Mule. It has Pok Pok Ginger just because of that she had to order it. Anyways, it is vodka, Pok Pok ginger, ginger liquor and lime. It was a very good take on the Moscow Mule and Sothea even preferred it over reagular Moscow Mules.
Som ordered the Trestle Toddy. It has bourbon, green chartreuse, luxardo, lime, and honey. While he thought the drink was good, he preferred the drink Sothea ordered.

For entrees, Sothea ordered the grilled sausage which was delicious and exactly what pub food should be. Som ordered the pork shank. Also good but again he prefeered what Sothea ordered. Maybe next time, Sothea should just order everything. Wink, wink.

Oh and just because it's a nod to European pubs does not mean there is a bar in there. Be ready to sit down at a table for food and conversation. It's not a place to just go grab a drink or watch the game.
