What’s Happening in Salt Lake City – Week of 4/19/15

Cendrillon
Jules Massenet’s score makes it perfectly clear: Cendrillon is a fairy tale. This witty tale, with Massenet’s delicate score, combines the sumptuousness of French operetta and the sense of magic and surprise of a Disney classic. Based on Perrault’s 1698 fairy tale, Massenet’s version will enthrall audiences, and is a wonderful introduction to the art form for younger audiences.
