East Liberty Tap House is a nice little neighborhood hangout in the 9th and 9th area and that's it. It's a casual little restaurant and that's all it should be. It's a let's go grab a beer and burger type place.

Their burger the Tap House Burger is good but honestly, now a days, you can toss a stone and find some place with a good burger. What you should really get is their Sloppy Lamb. It is ground lamb and beef, honey, rosemary, and chevre spread. They pack this thing so full of meat that sloppy is probably an understatement. You really need to get at this with a fork and knife. They also have a Sloppy Shrooms version which is just as good.

East Liberty also has a great list of beers and ciders but definitely try out their cocktails. They say that every good bar and restaurants needs good cocktails and East Liberty definitely does. We've never gone wrong with any of their cocktails that we may have never even ordered a beer here. Anyways go out, try the lamb or shrooms and get a tasty cocktail.
