Over the weekend, along with a group of friends, we went on a tour and tasting at their facility located on 425 North 400 West. Husband and wife team, Jeff and Jennifer were cordial and very informative.
They took us around the facility and told us about the history of cider, their process of making cider, new things that they are trying and answered any questions we had. We aren't going to go into depth because really this is a tour that you should take. Everyone that came had a really good time.
If you don't want to take a tour but want to try their product, they do have a tasting room.
Currently, they are selling 3 different ciders. The 7 Miler, Ruby and Cottonwood. The majority of our group like Ruby the best and the beer drinkers liked Cottonwood because it is more hoppy.
They also let us try a cider that they are in the process of aging called Stillwater. It is being aged in High West Whiskey barrels. They aren't finished with it but so far it is really good. When it gets bottled, we are running over there to get some!
We all learned a lot and had a great time. Thank you Mountain West Cider for having us!
