Date Night - Our Favorite Bars

We don't know how many of you consider going to a bar a date night but we sure do.  In this post, we want to tell you about our three favorite bars.  First up on the list is BTG Wine Bar.  The first time, we ever went to a wine bar was in California.  We loved it so much and kept saying Utah needs a wine bar.  And then BTG open up.  It has been one of our favorite places ever since..

We love being able to try different wines that we may have not otherwise tried.  Also the great thing about BTG is they have good food too. You can't go wrong with a cheese plate over there.  It's a good amount and they always have really delicious cheese. Just remember what they are because the next time you go, it might not be the same ones.

Dessert is delicious too.  If we go out to eat and we aren't feeling anything on the dessert menu, we will go to BTG to get the Tiramisu.  It's Som's favorite.

Next on the list is Copper Common.  At first, we were pretty sad to see Plum Alley go.  But we've grown to love Copper Common. Their drinks and bartenders are top notch.  There have been many times that we have gone somewhere else and were disappointed so we end up going to Copper Common to make up for it.

Oh and if anyone from Copper Common happens to be reading this (which we doubt), please bring back the rillettes.  They are the perfect bar snack.

Last but not least and the newest one is the Ruin.  First off, the ambience and decor is amazing.  Som loves it and it's his inspiration for a future man cave.  He could probably sit back and sip on drinks all day here if he could.

Second, the drinks are also amazing.  We've tried many drinks on their menu and love every one. Last time, the bartender made Sothea a French 75, Bee's Knees mix and it was delicious.  The only bad thing about this place is they don't serve food.  We heard if you ask, they'll make you a cup noodle though.
