Brunch Date - Manoli's

Manoli's is a fairly new Greek restaurant on 900 South.  We have gone their for dinner and wrote about it and posted it here.  We enjoyed it so much that we decided to give it a try for brunch.  We both were really impressed by their brunch.  Sothea went for her brunch mainstay, biscuits and gravy. The dish came with a large portion of food.  Larger than most biscuits and gravy.  It came with herbed biscuits, sausage gravy, 2 eggs and potatoes.  Sothea was expecting a typical biscuits and gravy but their were tons of Greek flavors coming from the herbs and the gravy.  It was a delightful twist on the regular biscuits and gravy.

Biscuits and Gravy

Som ordered the lamb burger.  It had a red pepper feta spread, garlic aioli and a fennel slaw.   The burger was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were perfectly crispy.

Also, we both ordered Bloody Marys.  Our waiter asked us if we wanted to add Ouzo to our Bloody Marys and we said sure why not. Ouzo is a Greek liquor that is a anise flavored apertif.  It added thsi nice licorice finish to each sip.  Good suggestion!
