Lunch Date - Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar

We don't usually go to chain restaurants.  We find a lot of them to be just mediocre.  But people north of Salt Lake have been raving about Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar.  So we decided to try it out while shopping at Station Park before going to Tremonton.  We started with a flatbread that was on their summer menu.  It has prosciutto and arugula on top.  You can't really go wrong with flatbread unless the flatbread isn't good.  This one was perfectly made, not too soft and not too crunchy.

For meals, we ordered the Twigs Cuban Dip and the Twigs Signature Burger.  It had grilled ham and pulled pork with melted fontina cheese.  It was very good.  The meat was perfect on it.  The burger was good but the fries were a little dry and lacking of flavor.

Oh yes and we did order drinks.  Sothea who is on a French 75 kick had to try their French 75.  The other drink was on their special's menu and for the life of us, we cannot remember what is is called or what was in it.  Our old age is showing.  Surprisingly, everyone around us ordered cocktails as well. Maybe this is the place to go get a drink in Davis County.

We were actually pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our meal here.  Maybe chain restaurants aren't so bad.
