Almost Tango
The program begins with George Balanchine’s joyous Square Dance is replete with breathtaking speed and precision from the dancers, the Baroque strains of Vivaldi and Corelli’s music, and the whimsical humor of a live dance caller. Next, the fierce and dynamic revival of William Forsythe’s brilliantly innovative masterpiece In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated is sure to please. The program culminates with the Utah premiere of resident choreographer Nicolo Fonte’s sensual and powerful Almost Tango, specially re-choreographed for Ballet West.

Black Milk, Street Jesus, Dine Krew
Black Milk typically performs backed by a full live band. The emcee/band setup allows for improvisational freedom during shows, which Black Milk designs to be stylistically diverse. His latest album, 2014's If There's a Hell Below combines elements of jazz, soul and even Asian-influenced sounds.

The Bee: True Stories from the Hive "Dirt"
"The Bee" is lovingly competitive storytelling. Ten storytellers picked at random from a hat have five minutes each to get up on stage and tell us all a true tale, on the theme of the night, without notes.  The theme of the night this time is "Dirt".

Alta Earth Day
All Day free event.  This event encourages environmental stewardship, responsible recreation and awareness of the relationship between climate change and the future of the ski industry in Little Cottonwood Canyon and beyond. The day’s event will feature: Eco-Friendly Vendors, Naturalist Tours, Birding in Alta, Ski Gear Recycle Drop-Off  and Après Earth Day & Film.

FINCA & Alzania Spanish Wine Dinner
A five-course tasting menu to pair perfectly with five Spanish wines from Bodegas y Vinedos Alzania, including Tempura Calcots (green onions) with romesco buerre blanc and cracked black pepper, Hominy Risotto with spinach, raisins, pine nuts, and Moroccan Spiced Spring Lamb (rack) with smoked vanilla and stone fruit chutney, cous cous.  The menu will be paired with five Alzania wines, three that are available in Utah and two wines special ordered for Finca.

India Cultural Center: Kathak Dance
