Recently, we went to see Motown the Musical. We've been wanting to see it but waited pretty late to buy our tickets and ended up sitting in the top tier. We have never sat in the top tier and don't think we will ever again. Som said it was way too high. Regardless, we had a really good time.
We both love all kinds of music. Groups like the Temptations, Diana Ross and the Supremes, The Jackson 5 all started with Motown. Motown is the story of Berry Gordy, the man behind all these wonderful musical acts. The show was super fun and included many songs that we love. We were tapping our feet and singing along.
The actors did a wonderful job. The kid that played Michael Jackson wowed the audience. If it comes again, we recommend all lovers of Motown see it.
Before the show, we had dinner across the street at Bambara. We also valet there and left our car there while we saw the show. One of the reasons we went to Bambara is because they have a new dessert menu. Desserts at Bambara are usually the best desserts in town. This night we tried their panna cotta. It was creamy and delicious. We will have to go back and try the other desserts on the menu.
