RDT Link Series Presents Wontanara

RDT’s Link series presents Wontanara! We are all together in the Susu language of Guinea, West Africa is the final installment of the Merveilles Utah African Dance and Drum Conference that brings together the vision of Fara Tolno, president of the Kissidugu Foundation and Rosie Banchero, Artistic Director of Wofa Afro Fusion Dance. Featuring traditional and original West African choreograpahy as well as musical arrangement by Fara Tolno, Wontanara aims to bring an experience unlike any other with nine African artists form Guinea, Mali, and the Congo. The show embraces the concept of togetherness regardless of our history, differences and experiences proving that by allowing our individuality we can still honor our roots and heritage to create an enriched environment to thrive in because we are wontanara, we are together!
