for Holiday Décor
Dyed eggs have been
used to celebrate seasonal changes, festivals, births, and other rites of
passage. Learn about the history, legends, designs and technique of making
these beautiful pieces of folk art from Ingrid Hersman, a master of German,
Ukrainian and other Eastern European egg decorating styles. You will learn to
design and decorate eggs with wax and special dyes as well as pick up some
tricks for using them in your own decorative arrangements throughout the year.

during World War II start the show off with a bang in Jerome Robbins’ and
Leonard Bernstein’s charming and playful Fancy Free – the predecessor to the
Broadway show On The Town. Jirí Kylián’s Petite Mort brought Utah audiences to
their feet in 2013. Now experience the soulful poetry of his On an Overgrown
Path set to a solo piano cycle by Leoš Janácek. The program comes to a show
-stopping conclusion with George Balanchine’s and George Bizet’s sparkling and
jubilant Symphony in C – performed in its complete form for the first time in
Utah!

You can build a
boxcar and enter it in the Boxcar Races. Operate the engine and switch cars on
the Time-Saver layout. The Union Pacific simulator will be on hand to run a
“real” train just like the U.P. engineers do to sharpen their skills. Boy
Scouts in uniform get in free on Saturday, along with a free Railroading Merit
Badge Workshop. There will be trains running everywhere on beautifully scenic
layouts of all sizes and scales. Free Engineer Hats from Operation Life Saver.
