We love when there are new places in the city.
Current Fish and Oyster has opened a bar next to their restaurant called Under Current. It is very stylish and has a nice ambiance. Like Current, they kept the older industrial touches and added modern twists and decor.
The food menu is rather small. It could use a couple more items. We ordered oysters. The sauces include a cucumber mignonette, spicy ponzu and a housemade ponzu. The oysters and sauces were delicious. We tried all three types of oysters and sauces. We also ordered the clam dip with house potato chips. It was a lot of dip. It is easily enough for four people. We had to order more chips, which is $2 for another side of chips.

The drinks were also great. Som tried the Glasgow Szarac and the Then Again. Sothea had a glass of Cabarnet and her go to cocktail, a French 75.

We love that the bar scene in Salt Lake has been growing and there is a more diverse range of places to go.
