Date Night - Tosh Ramen and Jazz Game

Tokyo Wings

We started off this week's date night at Tosh Ramen.  It was our first time there.  Som is a Pho (Katiew) kinda guy.  He'd pick that over any other kind of noodle soup.  But we wanted to give Tosh's a try.  We started off with the Tokyo Wings.  They were delicious and so easy to eat.  We loved them!  We could have eaten another plate of them.  For ramen, we got the Tonkotsu and Karai. The Karai is supposed to be spicy but it wasn't spicy enough for Som.  He added chili oil.  The pork was a little lacking in flavor and definitely could use some crispiness to it.   Despite those things, it was still good.   Subtle yet rich flavors.  The Tokyo Wings were definitely our favorite.  We can see why they are so well liked.

After dinner, we went to the Utah Jazz basketball game.  We both love sports and enjoy going to sporting events together.  Neither of us are Utah Jazz fans but we both love the game of basketball. That night they played the Washington Wizards.  For as badly as the Jazz have been doing this year, it was a pretty good game.  It came down to the last minute.  In the end, the Wizards won despite having over 20 turnovers.
